關於 STYLE/JET 英語口說檢定
STYLE / JET 全國兒童暨青少年英語分級檢定，是由英國試題中心 Saxoncourt Examinations 根據「兒童托福」的概念延伸，
針對所有非英語系國家學生所研發設計的一套英語「聽」、「寫」評量系統。此套聽寫評量系統，在台灣實行已有17年之久。
為因應現代英語學習潮流，全面強化學生的英語能力，2012年推出「口說」評量系統，以期完備學生英語能力。

1、考試內容主題與日常生活相關，讓學生能在生活中落實英語能力。
2、以活潑可愛的彩圖，搭配簡單提示，降低學生考試焦慮。
3、由經過謹慎審核、專業訓練的中外籍教師擔任口試官，模擬實際溝通情境。

1、藉由客觀的口說評量，發展學生口說能力。
2、經由有效的評量提升整體英語教學品質。
3、讓學生在有趣與有效的評量中加強學習動機。
4、提供多元入學有利的加分參考。

1、採一對一的考試環境。
2、由中外籍教師現場評分，非考後錄音評分方式。

1、6-17歲，現就讀國小一年級~高中三年級。
2、學習英文兩年以上的學生。

	Excellent. The student has outstanding performance and speaks appropriately, naturally and fluently. 優秀。具有優秀的英語口說能力，能夠正確、自然、流暢地說英語。
	Very Good. The student has performed satisfactorily and speaks fluently with a majority of error-free sentences. 非常好。具有運用自如的英語口說能力，能夠流暢的說出大量無誤的英語句子。
	Good. The student has shown reasonable ability and speaks with basic sentences and limited vocabulary. 很好。具有運用適當英語的口說能力，能夠使用基本的句型以及有限的單字。
	Fair. The student has merely adequate performance and speaks slowly with frequent errors. 普通。英語口說能力不足，語句不流暢且常有錯誤。
	Needs attention. The student has insufficient ability and needs significantly more instruction. 需要加強。無法進行英語口說，需要大量的引導說明。

Elementary Level
Part A : Read Aloud	Example: There’s a cat sleeping on the television.
Part B: Look at the Pictures And Answer the Questions	Example: Where is the basketball? How many rulers are there?
Part C: Answers the questions on personal information	Example: How old are you? What grade are you in?

Intermediate Level
Part A : Look at the Pictures and Answer the Questions	(Sandy) (Kevin) Example: Sandy studied hard. What did Kevin do?
Part B: Picture Description	Example: It is raining and the boy doesn’t have an umbrella.
Part C: Answers the Questions on Personal Information	Example: What do you like to do in your free time? Where do you do it?

Advanced Level
Part A : Find the Difference	Example: (Examiner) In my picture, there is a monkey climbing the tree. How about your picture? (Candidate) There is a snake climbing the tree.
Part B: Picture Description	Example: The boy visits his friend by train.
Part C: Answer the Questions on Personal Information	Example: What kind of sports do you like? How often do you play it?

A:理解程度與應對技能(Interactive listening ability)
發音、語調、流利度(Pronunciation and intonation fluency)
字彙、語法正確性與適切性(Accuracy and propriety of words and phrases)

Q:應該要報名哪一個級數?
A:STYLE/JET英語口說分級檢定不是單純由小朋友的年齡來認定，需輔以學生的英語程
度、STYLE/JET聽讀寫級數對照、學習時數及單字量來做衡量參考。建議您除了可請
英語教師提供專業協助，也可自行上師德網站參照相關資訊。

A:口說檢定另設有考試時間，請詳見師德網站公佈之日期，口說檢定與筆試各為獨立之測驗。

Q:通過STYLE/JET英語口說分級檢定，相當於什麼程度?
A:

初級 (Elementary Level)	1.能閱讀簡短的句子並流利地唸出。 2.能說出物品的名稱、顏色、數量、位置。 3.能描述自己的能力、喜好與需求。 4.能描述自己與他人正在從事的活動（現在進行式）。
中級 (Intermediate Level)	1.能閱讀較長的句子並流利地唸出。 2.能描述自己與他人過去發生的事件（過去式）。 3.能描述自己與他人目前已完成的事件與經驗（現在完成式）。 4.能閱讀圖片並描述大致內容。
高級 (Advanced Level)	1.能閱讀圖片並詳細描述內容。 2.能描述並比較事物或個人特質的不同。 3.能描述自己與他人過去正在發生的事件（過去進行式）。 4.能描述自己與他人持續進行的事件與經驗（現在完成進行式）。
